About Mapit

Mapit is a Spanish IoT and connected mobility company building hardware and software solutions for the motorcycle industry. Headquartered in Barcelona, we design devices and digital platforms that connect riders with their bikes — firmware, analytics, AI-driven services, and B2C/B2B digital experiences — and we work with brands like Honda to bring that ecosystem to market.

We've just closed a partnership with OEM to bring Mapit's solutions to the US market. Initial product deployment is starting now, and we're building our US presence from Alpharetta, GA. This is a foundational hire: the first Mapit role on the ground in the US.

The role and the challenge

As our Dealer Network Manager, you'll be the face of Mapit to Honda's US dealer network. You're not inheriting an established channel — you're building it. That means designing onboarding from scratch, earning trust with dealers who've never heard of Mapit, and turning a product launch into a real, scalable operation.

You'll work closely with OEM management and dealers, spending more than half your time visiting them across the territory. You'll be the voice of the US market back to our HQ in Barcelona, making sure what we build reflects what dealers and riders actually need.

This role has real weight: you're launching a new market for Mapit. You'll have autonomy and ownership, but you'll also need to build strong alignment with leadership in Spain — managing across time zones and distance is part of the job.

What you'll be doing

  • Build the dealer onboarding playbook from the ground up. Design how Honda dealers discover, adopt, and succeed with Mapit's IoT solutions — then iterate fast based on what works in the field.

  • Own the dealer relationship. Be the primary point of contact for Honda's US dealer network: visit them, train them, solve their problems, and keep them engaged.

  • Drive adoption and activation. Track how dealers are selling and deploying Mapit, identify friction points, and execute strategies to grow usage and retention.

  • Partner with Honda America. Maintain a strong working relationship with American Honda Motor stakeholders and align Mapit's rollout.

  • Be the voice of the US market. Bring dealer and market feedback back to our product, engineering, and commercial teams in Barcelona to shape the roadmap.

  • Resolve issues fast. When things break or dealers get stuck, mobilize the right people — internally and externally — to fix it quickly.

What we're looking for

Must have:

  • Relevant Experience: 5+ years in dealer network management, channel management, or field sales, ideally in powersports, automotive, or fleet.

  • Automotive/Powersports Background: Experience managing complex accounts in the automotive or powersports sector, preferably with a consultative approach to maximize partner success.

  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders—from technical engineers to senior executives.

  • Problem-Solving & Crisis Management: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to rapidly mobilize internal teams and deliver swift, effective solutions.

  • Customer-Focused Mindset: Proven ability to proactively drive long-term value for partners, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

  • Strong business judgment and autonomy. This role operates remotely from HQ (6-hour time difference) and needs someone who manages priorities, communicates upward clearly, and makes decisions without waiting for instructions.

  • Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time across the territory.

  • Valid US driver's license.

  • Language Skills: High-level proficiency in English is required. Spanish fluency is a plus given our global operations.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with IoT, connected devices, telematics, or SaaS solutions sold through dealer channels.

  • Experience working with international teams across time zones.
